Hundreds of elementary school students from all over Jakarta and Banten region filled the auditorium of Gd. BPPT on 4 November 2009 to attend the Traditional Food Socialization and Materials Nature Medicine that was held by the Deputy Societies Division, Ministry of Research and Technology (KNRT). The event was opened by the Minister of Research and Technology, represented by the minister of the Expert Staff of Information and Communication Technology, Bpk. Engkos Koswara. The event was organized with the intent to foster the public’s love of Indonesia Indonesia’s traditional food and drug ingredients derived from nature and one of the civilizing efforts of science and technology to health and food for the creation of new innovation R & D results of the Indonesian generation. Bpk. Engkos Koswara in discussions with hundreds of elementary school students expect these activities can best be utilized to enhance knowledge and insights.  www.ristek.go.id
